Meeting the need for a single-location training and qualifications facility at Fort Campbell, the new 222-acre, standard-design range consists of eight operations and storage structures, along with both mobile and stationary targets. In addition to the downrange complex, facilities include range access and range operations control areas, a parking area, range control tower, operations storage building, aerated latrine building, bleacher enclosure, covered mess shelter, after action review building, and an ammunition loading dock. This new range location supports a high-tech, efficient, functional training environment at Fort Campbell.
