About the Project
Ross Group was prime contractor for the design-build repair and renovation of Aircraft Maintenance Facility 6975 at Fort Hood, Texas. The 45,000 sq. ft. building, which includes a warehouse/hangar maintenance area and a two-story interior office space, was originally designed and constructed in 1985.
The project emphasized code upgrades, including fire protection, partial ABA compliance, UFC code, and facility energy updates. The team also renovated the interior space to provide a new unisex ABA-accessible restroom.
