About the Project

This design-build repair of a single-story, 23,765 sq. ft. child development center (CDC) was originally constructed in 1991. The facility was updated from 1980s-era amenities to modern standards for CDCs. The renovated facility serves approximately 217 children between the ages of six weeks and five years old and accommodates a 65-person staff.

To modernize the facility, the team demolished and replaced the interior walls, flooring, restrooms, and building systems throughout the CDC. The majority of the building was reconfigured to meet modern codes. The renovated spaces included nine infant/pre-toddler/toddler care rooms, five pre-school/pre-kindergarten/kindergarten rooms, and additional support spaces.
