About the Project

Ross Group constructed a new baseball complex for Stroud Public Schools in three phases based on the school district’s operational and financial needs. Ross Group’s project management and estimating teams worked closely with the school board and the architect to value engineer the project, and worked with our subcontractor pool to develop the extent of utilities, phase budgets, and construction details.

Phase 1 of the project constructed a new baseball field, associated bleachers, a parking lot, a concession/press-box building, and ticket booths. This phase totaled 100,000 sq. ft. on 13.7 acres.

Phase 2 constructed a new baseball facility building, which included an indoor practice area, locker rooms, coach's office, training room, and restrooms/storage areas.  This phase totaled 7,529 sq. ft. and 2 acres. Since the field and facilities constructed in Phase 1 were in use, Ross Group coordinated with the school and took precautions to keep students, faculty, and guests safe while construction of the training facility was completed.

Phase 3 constructed a secondary baseball field including field lighting, bleachers, and CMU dugouts with finishes, all of which match the first field. Phase 3 totaled 4.1 acres. As in Phase 2, extra precautions were taken to keep students, faculty, and guests safe while construction on the second baseball field was completed.
